Beliefs, in and of themselves, are neutral: They are neither good nor bad. The real question is: Does this belief serve me in living my best life, or does it hold me back. We can tell a thought or belief serves us because it feels good to think about it. Any other feeling (than good), usually indicates that the belief is holding us back in some way.

As a kid I'd practically break my own back to insure I didn't "step on a crack and break my mother's back". The way that thought served me is feeling that in some way I was contributing to my mother's safety, even while out playing.

So, grab your four leaf clover, lucky mug, and good luck charms and ask yourself how it feels to have them nearby.

Many blessings,
Nancy
